CA DOI Requests Producers to Educate Consumers on Tax Credit

We always want to do our part to help people save money.  So, when California Department of Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones asked insurance producers —that’s us — to educate consumers about the availability of the State and Federal Earned Income Tax Credit, we heeded the call.  In short, many taxpayers may qualify for a cash back tax credit and are not aware of it.  In California, it’s called the California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC).
